David joins JRI as a Financial Adviser, bringing over 30 years of experience across the insurance industry. Since beginning his career in 1992, he has held roles with State Insurance, Equitas Limited (a subsidiary of Lloyd’s of London), the Accident Compensation Corporation (ACC), Sovereign and AIA. For the past 18 years, David has worked closely with the JRI Life team in his role as a Business Development Manager (BDM) with Sovereign/AIA, building strong relationships with both our team and clients.

Although born and now based in Hamilton, David is a self-confessed “Naki Boy”, having spent 25 years living throughout Taranaki, where he grew up and began his insurance career with State Insurance. He has maintained strong ties to the region, spending more than 18 years working across Taranaki in his BDM roles.

With his relationship-focused approach and extensive industry experience, David supports JRI’s Life and General Insurance clients across the Waikato, Bay of Plenty and northern regions, while helping to grow JRI’s presence in these areas.
